"Deaf Heritage in Canada tells the story of Deaf Canadians - the events, individuals, and
societal attitudes that have shaped their lives -- and the impact they have had on our
country." We will feature each story from this book monthly.
This book was the dream of Forrest Curwin Nickerson and was the intended author for
this book but declining health prevented him from assuming this role. Dr. Clifton Carbin
was asked to finish this book which he did. It is illustrated throughout with almost 500
photographs and 622 pages.
