The CCSD is committed to developing and highlighting the capabilities and talents of Deaf people both individually and collectively.  Today, CCSD consists of seven provincial cultural societies that lead projects in American Sign Language and langue des signes Quebecoise, in the performing arts, in literature, visual arts, multimedia and heritage resources.
